Tenji et Subaru commencent leur aventure dans la ville.

Ren est le seul habitant qui ne perd pas une partie de son Ombre.

La raison est révélée progressivement :

L’attaque n’a donc pas pu prendre la moitié de son Ombre comme celle des autres habitants.

Pour la première fois, les habitants comprennent que Ren possède réellement quelque chose de différent.

Mais cette découverte ne fait pas disparaître leur peur.

Elle augmente.
