SCENE 3 — THE SECRET OF HIS POWER The voice revealed the truth. Long before Astravon, Vexor, or Nocturn existed, there was an ancient force called THE ORIGIN. The Origin wasn't a god or a king. It was the source from which the laws of reality first emerged. Time, space, energy, matter, and dimensions were all connected to it. But when the first universe was created, the Origin divided itself into eight fundamental powers. Each power governed a different aspect of existence. Infinity Void: The power to command the emptiness beyond reality. Time Authority: The ability to stop, bend, and travel through time. Celestial Might: Strength, speed, flight, durability, and extraordinary senses. Reality Authority: The ability to alter the laws of existence. Mind Dominion: The ability to perceive and influence thoughts. Elemental Sovereignty: Control over the fundamental elements. Shadow Dominion: Command over darkness and shadows. Soul Authority: The ability to interact with spiritual essence. For countless ages, these powers remained dormant. Until the night Shadow entered the place outside existence. SHADOW: "Why give all of this to me?" The voice fell silent. Then it answered. THE ORIGIN: "I did not choose you because you were the strongest." The crystal shattered into eight streams of light. They circled Shadow. THE ORIGIN: "I chose you because power without compassion becomes a prison." Shadow watched the lights approach. SHADOW: "What happens if I accept?" THE ORIGIN: "You will become something the universe has never witnessed." SHADOW: "And if I refuse?" THE ORIGIN: "The universe will continue without its final guardian." Shadow thought about the people who needed help. He remembered all the times he had wished he could protect someone but couldn't. He looked at the eight lights. SHADOW: "Then I'll accept." The lights entered his body. For one impossible moment, every star in existence turned violet. BOOOOOOM! A shock wave crossed the boundaries of reality. Time stopped across countless worlds. The laws of physics bent. Every shadow in existence turned toward one boy. And deep inside Shadow's mind, eight locks appeared. Seven remained closed. The eighth began to glow. THE ORIGIN: "Your journey begins now."

## De tekenstijl

Gebruik een brede, dramatische camerahoek waarop de lege werkruimte en de apparatuur duidelijk zichtbaar zijn.

Show the contrast between the confident exterior she presents to the world and the vulnerable inner world she reveals only to people she trusts.

Include visual motifs throughout the book: rain and thunderstorms for emotional turmoil; blankets and soft fabrics for safety; windows and doorways for distance and connection; falling flower petals for the memory of first love; and a younger version of the protagonist as a recurring symbol of resilience and self-compassion.

Draw from the actual questionnaire responses. Important scenes include her childhood caregiver tickling her to sleep, the crowded family home, playing in the verandah, late-night ice cream outings, feeling compared with her sisters, receiving encouragement from a teacher, walking away from a hurtful friendship, the Nehru Park outing with her future boyfriend, finding comfort in her mother's presence and food, listening to music while crying, and reflecting on the person she has become.

Some candidates are brilliant.
Others possess extraordinary abilities.
One can manipulate gravity.
Another can see possible futures.
A third can move faster than the eye can follow.
Shadow has none of these abilities.
At first, he struggles.
He fails puzzles that others solve in seconds.
He loses challenges against candidates with supernatural gifts.
Several times, he nearly gives up.
But he notices something others overlook.
The trials aren't simply testing who is strongest.
They're testing who understands the rules—and who can recognize when the rules themselves are misleading.
Shadow begins adapting.
He studies the arena.
He observes the other candidates.
He learns from every mistake.
One by one, the candidates are eliminated and returned safely to their worlds.
Eventually, only two remain.
Shadow and a candidate whose abilities have allowed him to dominate almost every trial.
The final trial begins.
The arena disappears.
Both candidates find themselves standing before two enormous doors.
A message appears:
ONE DOOR LEADS TO THE THRONE. THE OTHER LEADS HOME.
The other candidate immediately chooses the first door.
It opens.
Inside is a magnificent throne surrounded by golden light.
He smiles and walks toward it.
But Shadow notices something strange.
The message never said the throne belonged to the winner.
He examines the second door.
A small inscription appears beneath it.
THE FINAL TEST IS NOT WHICH DOOR YOU CHOOSE. IT IS WHY.
Shadow closes his eyes.
Then he understands.
He turns away from both doors.
SHADOW: "I don't want a throne just because you tell me to want one."
The entire arena trembles.
SHADOW: "If you're looking for someone who wants power more than anything else, you've chosen the wrong person."
He looks directly into the darkness.
SHADOW: "But if you're looking for someone who will decide for himself what that power is for…"
He steps forward.
SHADOW: "Then I'm still here."
The other candidate disappears in a flash of golden light.
Shadow stands alone.
The final message appears.
SELECTION COMPLETE.
SUCCESSOR IDENTIFIED: SHADOW.

SCENE 4 — THE SELECTION GAME
The Origin explains the rules.
The fifty candidates will enter a series of cosmic trials.
Each trial will test something different: intelligence, courage, judgment, determination, and the ability to make difficult choices.
Nobody can win through strength alone.
Some trials will involve supernatural abilities. Others will require candidates to solve impossible puzzles or work together.
Anyone who fails will be transported safely back to their original world, with no memory of the cosmic realm.
Only one candidate can become the successor.
ETERNAL ORIGIN: "You may refuse."
Forty-nine candidates immediately agree to participate.
Shadow hesitates.
He doesn't care about becoming a god.
He doesn't even know whether any of this is real.
But he thinks about his ordinary life.
The loneliness.
The bullying.
The feeling that nobody would notice if he disappeared from the crowd.
He clenches his fists.
SHADOW: "I'll participate."
The Origin studies him.
ETERNAL ORIGIN: "Why?"
Shadow looks up.
SHADOW: "I don't know what you want from us."
He takes a breath.
SHADOW: "But I'm tired of living a life where I feel like I don't matter."
Silence fills the void.
The Origin's ninth ring moves for the first time in countless ages.
ETERNAL ORIGIN: "Interesting."
A vast arena forms around the candidates.

SCENE 3 — THE SPACE BETWEEN EVERYTHING
Shadow opens his eyes.
He is floating in an endless cosmic space.
There is no ground beneath him, but he isn't falling.
Stars stretch endlessly in every direction. Enormous galaxies rotate in the distance.
He looks around.
SHADOW: "Where am I?!"
A voice answers.
UNKNOWN VOICE: "You have been brought beyond the boundaries of your universe."
Shadow turns.
Fifty people float in the darkness.
Some wear school uniforms. Others wear strange clothes. A few appear to be warriors.
Every one of them looks confused.
Then the stars begin to gather.
Space bends inward.
A colossal figure emerges.
Its body resembles a human silhouette formed from black cosmic matter. Galaxies move beneath its transparent surface. Nine enormous rings float behind its head.
Eight glow with different colors.
The ninth is completely black.
Its silver eyes open.

Season 1, Episode 1: THE LAST ONE STANDING
SCENE 1 — THE BOY NOBODY NOTICED
Location: A Japanese high school.
Time: 4:15 PM.
The classroom is noisy.
Students laugh, talk, and make plans for the weekend.
At the back of the room sits a boy named Shadow.
He's an ordinary student. Black hair, tired eyes, an old schoolbag, and a quiet personality.
He isn't the smartest student in the school.
He isn't the strongest.
And he certainly isn't popular.
Shadow looks at his phone.
No new messages.
He opens his class group chat. His classmates are making plans to hang out.
Nobody has invited him.
Suddenly, three of his classmates approach his desk.
BOY 1: "Hey, Shadow. Still sitting here alone?"
The others laugh.
BOY 2: "Leave him alone, bro. He's got nobody to hang out with anyway."
Shadow forces a smile.
SHADOW: "Yeah, whatever."
They walk away.
But his smile disappears as soon as they turn their backs.
He looks out the window.
SHADOW'S THOUGHTS:
"What is so wrong with me?"
He packs his things and leaves.
Nobody notices.
Nobody asks where he's going.
And nobody sees the tears he struggles to hold back.

SCENE 2 — THE PLACE OUTSIDE EXISTENCE
Shadow opened his eyes.
He was no longer on the street.
He stood in a vast, dark space filled with floating fragments of stars.
There was no ground beneath his feet, yet he didn't fall.
In front of him floated an enormous purple crystal.
Inside it were countless moving images: worlds being born, civilizations rising, stars dying, and universes disappearing.
Shadow approached it.
SHADOW: "What is this place?"
A voice answered.
UNKNOWN VOICE: "This is the place that existed before existence had a name."
SHADOW: "Why am I here?"
UNKNOWN VOICE: "Because you are the only one who can carry what remains."
The crystal cracked.
A blinding violet light filled the darkness.
And something emerged from within it.
Not a weapon.
Not a creature.
But an energy unlike anything the universe had ever known.

Episode 0: The Boy the Universe Chose
SCENE 1 — BEFORE THE POWER
Before Shadow became the most mysterious being in existence, he was just an ordinary boy.
